Day 8/40: THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE

It’s Sunday, the Lords day.  I love the words of the Psalmist when He said, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Sundays are not just another day to us, they are a day we set aside to gather together with our incredible Church family, a day to hear from God and a day when we get to come together to Life up the name of Jesus.

The other thing that is happening today, in fact at two o’clock in the morning, is we lose that hour of sleep we so cherish.  There must be another way we can do this time change thing, I know some countries don’t even do it at all, can’t we just live like that?

One hour seems like just a short period of time, but I am reminded of the words of Jesus when he said to His disciples “could you not tary ONE HOUR?  As modern as this church age is, there is a paradigm that can never and must never change, and that is that POWERFUL PEOPLE are PRODUCED through PRODUCTIVE PRAYER lives.

There is no getting around this thing my friend, you must pray.  Prayer is that divine connection that keeps you close to the heart of God.  The more you pray, the more things will happen for you.

One great Native American chief once said these works, No Prayer, No Power, Little Prayer, Little Power, Much Prayer, Much Power.  This is so true, because God knows us better than we know ourselves, He knows what we love and what we hate.  If He knows us, and He does, then He will know if you have a heart to pray or just want to go through the motions, but never be all God intended you to be.

Take an hour today, somewhere, and spend that precious ONE HOUR with the Lord, discipline yourself and make yourself do it, and you will find day after day, great changes taking place in your life!

Have A Blessed Sunday, and don’t miss tomorrow’s blog.
